Completing the trio of Suqqu spring eyeshadow palettes is EX-12 Hisuidama. At first glance I was afraid it looked too similar to the limited-edition, Hankyu/Selfridges-exclusive EX-08 Hanamari, but after swatching them side by side I can categorically say they are very different, although all shades belong in the same general colour families – comparison swatches to come soon!
Hisuidama features a shimmery white base/highlight shade, a lovely duochrome pale green with a hint of mint, a cool dark brown full of duochrome-y goodness and a very pale shimmery pink. I’m afraid these are far from the best pictures and swatches I have ever done and don’t showcase the shades in all their glory, so will try to get better photos over the weekend, when hopefully the weather will help. All pictures were taken in natural light.

I had thought I could easily skip this palette as the silver & pink are too icy for my normal tastes, but I saw someone wearing it the other day and it looked SO beautiful that now I’m all confused :/. How are you finding it so far — is it wearable?
It’s a beautiful and very wearable combination. The best thing about Suqqu quads IMO is how they change when layered, and this is quad you can layer to your heart’s content. It’s not the most unique of the three but it’s one of the most flattering, I think.
