I am a fan of the Chantecaille brand, particularly of its adorable and environmentally friendly eyeshadow palettes, most of which help to raise funds for special causes relating to nature and animals. The Elephant Palette is one of these, raising money and awareness for orphaned baby elephants in Kenya.
Unlike some of the brand’s other limited-edition palettes, this one contains four eyeshadows (as opposed to three eyeshadows and a blush). The shades are Ivory (a matte off-white colour), Grasslands (a shimmery, almost metallic dark green), Iron Ore (a dark brown shade with gold sparkles) and Red Earth (a metallic, almost coppery red), and were inspired by catwalk trends and “the lustrous colours found in the Kenyan landscape”.
These pictures were taken under natural light on a gloomy day.
