& Other Stories Blushers, part 1

& Other Stories is the higher-end sister brand of H&M, and its London boutique opened a few months ago just off Oxford Street. I had heard about its makeup range but didn’t get the chance to see it in person until now, and as expected I proceeded to swatch as much as I could in the little time I had!

The collection has a range of products including foundation, tinted moisturiser, bronzers, lipsticks, lip glosses, eyeshadows, pigments and more, but the ones that caught my eye were the blushes (or blushers, as they call it). The full range comprises 11 shades, which I swatched in two stages – the second lot will include the six pink shades and this has everything else.

Shades are, from left to right, Organza Coral, Marrabas Orange, Cire Red, Canvas Taupe and Caddage Pink. All five are matte (as are most of the pink ones), and the texture is powdery and finely-milled but pigmented – not unlike Illamasqua blushes. They retail for £10 each and are available online for delivery at several European locations.

The photos were taken in-store with my iPhone, so lighting isn’t the best, but you get the idea. Click on the images for larger versions.

Could one of those peachy shades be a dupe for Illamasqua Lover? *is hopeful*

The lightest one is fairly similar to Lover in shade, although the texture is slightly more powdery (at least the tester I used was!).
