While swatches of new products are always helpful, comparison swatches are usually harder to find online, so I will try to do more of those in the future. To start with I have picked a category I seem to have quite a lot of – red blushes!
(EDIT: I realised after taking these pictures that I actually forgot to include a couple of red blushes in this lot, such as MAC Bite of an Apple and a Japanese drugstore acquisition. Oh well, I’ll update it at some point!)
What I have included in this post are obviously red or red-leaning blushes. In the first picture you can see all of them parading for your pleasure: clockwise from far left, they are Sleek Flame palette, Sleek Scandalous (LE, discontinued), Tarte Natural Beauty, Chanel Joues Contrast Rouge, Illamasqua Brazen, D&G Sole, Addiction Revenge Cheek Stick and the one in the middle is Shu Uemura Glow-On Blush P Red 14 (also discontinued).
The swatches are ordered slightly differently as I wanted to keep powders and creams separate – the two creams are at the end. From left, they are D&G Sole (very lightly swatched), the middle and right-side shades from Flame, Shu P Red 14, Tarte Natural Beauty, Chanel Rouge, Sleek Scandalous, Addiction Revenge and Illamasqua Brazen.
As usual, you can click on the images to see larger versions. I’ll do better/closer swatches soon and include the missing blushes, promise!
