The second limited-edition fall 2013 eyeshadow palette from Suqqu, EX-16 Benichagasane, is a glorious combination of colours that at fist glance you might think wouldn’t go together, but in actual fact work amazingly well. I can’t think of any Suqqu palette in the last two years or so that looks remotely like it either, so bonus points for uniqueness.
The five shades include a warm pale golden shimmer, a light coppery shade, a lovely bright pink with silvery glitter, a matte warm brown liner shade and a matte off-white base colour. There is enough textural variety to keep most people happy and the quality of all shades is up to the usual Suqqu high standards. This is the warmest of the three autumn palettes by far.
All shades were swatched with my finger – the matte brown liner is more pigmented than the one in EX-16 Hanaazuki (featured here). The pictures were taken under natural light, with the first two sets of swatches in direct sunlight and the remaining pictures in indirect light.
