Suqqu Blend Color Eyeshadow 21 Yoihagi is the second permanent palette in the Japanese brand’s fall 2015 collection (Kaoribara is the first) and possibly the least exciting colour combination of the three for most people – I, however, am a sucker for green eyeshadow, especially Suqqu greens.
What I like about this quad is that it would probably suit both cool and warm-toned people as the shades are all fairly neutral – some are cooler and some warmer, but none are excessively one way or the other.
The colours are a subtle peachy-pink, a light copper shade, an olive green with gold sparkles and a creamy light beige base. The two following pictures show the swatches under direct sunlight – as usual with Suqqu quads, photos do not do the actual colours justice as they are much more interesting and complex in real life.
The next pictures showcase the shades under indirect natural light.
Conclusion: While not the star of the fall 2015 show, Yoihagi is a pretty and wearable palette that should suit most people. Is it unique enough to own? Probably not, unless you really have nothing like these shades. Overall it’s a nice quad with Suqqu’s usual quality and I don’t regret buying it.
